Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

The Type Malayalam Chrome Extension enables users to type Malayalam (മലയാളം) using English letters via transliteration and a virtual keyboard. This extension does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

All typing and transliteration processing occurs locally within the user’s browser. No keystrokes, input text, or browsing data are sent to external servers or third parties. The extension may use browser storage solely to remember your preferences such as typing mode (transliteration or virtual keyboard). This data never leaves your device.

The extension complies fully with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including restrictions on user data collection, host permissions, and remote code execution.
